Jackie Nickerson Vatican exhibition

The Vatican will host the works by 60 artists this summer, in an exhibition celebrating the 60th anniversary of Pope Benedict’s ordination to the priesthood.

The exhibit entitled "Lo Splendore della Verità, la Bellezza della Carità"  will include photography, painting, sculpture, architecture, poetry, music, film, and jewelry design—will be shown in the atrium of the Paul VI auditorium.

Jackie Nickerson has been invited to exhibit two, previously unseen images from the Faith series, that will be retained in the collection of the Vatican Museum.

Formally opened by the Pontiff on July 4, it will be open to the public from July 5 through September 4.
